My first experience with family law was working with the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic during my final year of law school at Southern Methodist University. It was during this time that I found that I could combine two of my passions: the legal profession and building interpersonal relationships through helping others. Whether it's going through a divorce, a custody battle, or even an adoption, I believe in being not only an advocate and a legal adviser to my clients, but also a support system to them.

Sometimes even the best kids can make bad decisions. In my work with juveniles, I believe in working closely with the children as well as their parents or guardians in order to determine the best way to address the delinquency and how to make things right. I do not believe that submitting to peer pressure or making a mistake in judgment should scar a child for life.
